What is the All of Us Research Program?
The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to accelerate research and improve health by gathering data from one million or more people living in the United States.
By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will have the information to better understand health and disease. The more we know about what makes people unique, the more customized health care can become.
Data from All of Us could someday help researchers:
Identify what makes people more likely to develop a disease.
Find out how environment, lifestyle, and genes can impact health
Build better tools for detecting a health condition and encouraging healthy habits.
The All of Us Research Program is made up of a large and diverse community. Together, we are advancing one of the most ambitious health research programs in history. All of Us is supported and overseen by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Waco AHEC & All of Us Collaboration
Waco AHEC is a proud engagement partner for the All of Us Research Program. Research plays an integral role in our mission to improve the supply, distribution, retention, and training of varied health professionals in medically underserved areas.
At Waco AHEC, we believe that representation and diversity are fundamental in research and improving health equity. When research data sets are not representative, it affects everyone. Through our partnership with All of US, we host events and educate our community about the program. Our goal is to increase participation among community members and ensure that Wacoans are adequately represented.
If you would like to learn more about the program or learn more about enrolling, please contact us! We would love to have you come and join us at an engagement event!
